REMEDI Electronic Commerce Group, located in Columbus, Ohio, is currently looking for a Business Development Representative. You will be located in the Columbus office and will report to our Business Development Manager. Successful candidate will have a stellar history of demonstrated success in developing business in the business services space. In particular, this success would be related to placing contract, contract to hire, and permanent placement resources with business clients.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop relationships, identify, and close opportunities with clients/prospects through a largely phone based consultative selling process, with supplementary reliance on in-person, web / email, newsletter, and marketing communication
- Maintain superior client relations by consistent and timely account management, maintenance, problem resolution
- Identification of opportunities to improve client loyalty and build revenue through add-ons, up-selling, and cross selling to client accounts
- Client needs analysis, requirements definition, pricing / proposal development
- Resource review, presentation, and scheduling with Consultant Relations Managers / Recruiters and prospect
- Service agreement / statement of work development, negotiation and execution
- Support of consulting and permanent placement resources on account
- Maintain accurate records on accounts via contact management systems
- Assistance with prospect lead development projects
- Ongoing industry / product / service observations and market research
- Maintain the highest degree of ethics and integrity
EXPERIENCE DESIRED
- Minimum 2 years experience in business services; sales, account management, business development, or customer support
- Demonstrated success calling on management and executive level decision makers with experience passing gatekeepers
- Familiarity and use of selling methodologies or account management methodologies
- Disciplined prospecting and sales activity planning, coupled with adherence to execution of the plan
