CONSULTING

Integration Consulting

PROJECT BASED consulting provisions a resource(s) for a particular project with a specific deliverable or outcome such as an integration software implementation or the development of a specific integration solution.  Our scale in project consulting for our clients ranges from a single (1) integration expert for as little as a week, to as many as eleven (11) integration experts over 4 years with roles including integration / EDI architect, developer, mapper, trainer, project manager, business analyst, on-boarding analyst, and coordinator.

STAFF SUPPLEMENTATION provides an integration specialist(s) to assist with the day-to-day activities of your integration team. As with most companies, there are just not enough people to get backlogs under control and this option can give you an additional expert to help during those busy times. In terms of scale, we have provided clients with a single (1) integration expert for as little as a week, and as many as seven (7) integration experts for several years.

MANAGED SERVICES

Managed Services

Managed services is an offering that allows clients to maintain control of their strategic integration infrastructure by keeping it in-house, yet lets clients focus on things core to their business by having REMEDI maintain the integration infrastructure and orchestrate external / internal integration activities.

EDI and B2Bi managed services are attractive to those looking to have flexible and nimble staff in difficult economic times, or in times of rapid organizational growth. Of course it provides benefits in terms of budget management and staff redundancy. Managed Services also provides opportunity for efficiencies through the best practice implementation and utilization of your integration tool and associated integration, collaboration, and automation solutions.

Our demonstrated scale in regard to managed services for our clients ranges from a fraction of an integration expert for as little as a quarter, to as many as four (4) integration experts over 4 years.

RECRUITING & PLACEMENT

Recruiting & Placement

Recruiting and placement services assist the client with finding and populating integration positions on the team.  It also assists candidates in finding the right full-time integration opportunity.  Our knowledge, expertise, and tenure in business data integration enables us to thoroughly screen candidates and provide the best list of candidates to clients, and best opportunities to candidates.  Two ways to hire a candidate include:

FULL-TIME

CONTRACT TO HIRE

Are you hesitant to hire someone making an immediate long term employment commitment? “Try before you buy” by engaging with a candidate interested in contract-to-hire arrangement.  This will help you determine how the candidate fits within your team and let you evaluate their management, technical, and social skills. These candidates are utilized in a contract capacity until parties agree a full-time relationship is appropriate.

TRAINING

Training

EDI training and integration training continues to be among our most common service request. This has been the case for as many years as we can recall. Engagement circumstances vary from training backfill and staff expansion resources, to product training on newly acquired integration tools.

ON-PREMISES TRAINING – OJT

In terms of on-premises training, clients usually seek customized training to address specific needs and concerns omitting basic/known topics. Known by many names, “over the shoulder”, “pilot/co-pilot”, “side by side”, “on the job”, training is at the client location with client licensed software, installed in the client environment, accessing client business systems. Accompanied with this training are real life trading partner integration and implementation requirements with at least one, if not many, client resources. This style of training is available with every integration software tool in which we have a consulting competency.

If you wish, OJT training can also be delivered virtually utilizing web collaboration technology.

ON-PREMISES TRAINING – CLASSROOM

An on-premises variation of training similar to the above is traditional classroom style product-based training, offered as a supplement or alternative to software vendor classes. This curriculum is available in a “canned” fashion, but is customizable as desired by the client. In this approach, training is more lecture, group exercise, independent exercise in nature using pre-developed exercises that flow with the lecture content.  Being on-premises, this training is with client licensed software, installed in the client environment accessing client business systems, and most often held in client IT training or conference room facilities conducive to classroom training.

Classroom style training is routinely offered with Sterling Integrator / Gentran Integration Suite.
