Why do industries in all sectors trust EDI for their most important supply chain and revenue cycle communications?

Restore Integration Environment After Crash

Situation:  Remedi received a call on a Friday afternoon from a global maker of educational toys for children requesting help with an unusual but urgent need. Their Gentran environment crashed and would need to be rebuilt from scratch.

Solution: Within hours Remedi assembled a team of EDI mappers. The team immediately began rebuilding the 150 maps that drive the company’s supply chain and revenue cycle. The team first triaged the invoice and purchase order maps and then focused on restoring the rest of the company’s maps lost during the crash.

Impact on Business: The Remedi EDI team rebuilt the core maps rebuilt in a few days. In turn, the company could resume business operations with minimal disruption to their production commitments or order to cash flows. Ultimately the Remedi team took just two weeks to rebuild the entire environment from scratch.

EDI Remapping To Support Migration to Cloud-Based ERP

Situation:  As part of their move from a legacy ERP system to a cloud solution a national pharmacy benefits company needed to rewrite all their trading partner maps within a four-month time frame. Together, the EDI documents dictated the flow of data and revenue generated by the more than 700 million prescriptions the company processed each year.

Solution:  Based on the trust built from previous project work, the EDI manager at the company engaged Remedi to locate Remedi to locate consultants with expertise in the Seeburger integration platform. Scope included BOD gap analysis, identification of non-standard identifiers, and collaborating with other team members where needed to re-engineer or re-configure the workflow.

Impact on Business:  Thanks to a deep bench of vetted specialists, Remedi delivered two full-time consultants within a week who  began work on the re-mapping shortly thereafter. The customer’s confidence in the quality of Remedi’s past work and responsiveness protected the company from the risk of entrusting a critical ERP migration project to a new vendor.
