IBM Sterling Integrator Mapping Resource During Migration to S/4HANA
Situation:
As part of their digital transformation, this international grower co-op and producer decided to invest in migrating the organization to SAP S/4HANA. Due to the complexities and time involved, the move would require outside resources to integrate their IBM Sterling Integrator-based environment with the new ERP platform.
Solution:
Based on a 10-year relationship, including leading the migration of their Sterling Integrator environment to the cloud, the co-op tapped Remedi to provide EDI-related support throughout the S/4HANA migration. The consulting team consisted of a Sterling Integrator architect and two mappers to provide support services including EDI map conversions, regression testing, and connection validation.
Impact on Business:
With Remedi in place to resolve the kinds of integration challenges likely to emerge during such a significant migration, the organization’s core team can focus on making the transition to S/4HANA as smooth as possible. Leveraging Remedi’s resources lets the co-op minimize the impact to members and customers as well as operations and revenue. At the same time the co-op has positioned itself to reduce operating costs and improve scalability.
