Annual Reviews?

It is hard to believe it is already March.  Although there is still plenty of snow on the ground here at Remedi, it is nice to know that it will not be here much longer.  March begins to turn the page on winter and allows us to turn our thoughts to spring.  With this in mind, at the end of March, one quarter of 2014 will be behind us.  Remember all of those New Year's resolutions we resolved to keep this year?  How many have you kept? 
 
imagesThe beginning of a year is much like the beginning of spring.  It allows us to take stock of the previous year 
and look at the year ahead and new opportunities.  How many of you completed annual reviews earlier this year to take stock of the previous year?  Annual reviews can take many shapes.  Annual employee reviews, financial reviews, goal reviews, etc...  What about an annual review of your EDI or eCommerce environment?  Have you completed that yet?  Did you even think about including it as part of the many annual reviews you do?  If not, you are not alone.  Many of our clients did not understand the value of an annual review or assessment of their EDI or eCommerce environment prior to becoming Remedi clients. 
 
As much as things change during a year and can be identified in the other yearly reviews that you complete, your EDI/eCommerce environment can change significantly.  Think about last year and the number of trading partners you added or eliminated, the change in your volume of transactions, and the number of new standards and protocols that you were asked to support.  These are just a few ways that your EDI/eCommerce environment can evolve through the course of a year.  Our clients that complete an annual review or assessment of their EDI/eCommerce environments have come to realize substantial benefits.  Because of these yearly reviews our clients have more stable environments, have their environments sized appropriately, have onboarded more trading partners and handled more volume more efficiently, and have improved relationships with their customers through better and faster EDI/eCommerce service.
