Assessing Line Changes for Your Championship Team

I have been watching a lot of NHL playoff hockey this postseason primarily because the Columbus Blue Jackets have finally made the playoffs again.  In my last blog, I wrote about annual reviews and the need to periodically assess your technical environment.  At a conference last week that I attended, there was a lot
of talk about culture within companies among employees and putting together the right teams.  It has me thinking about the importance of assessing not only your technical environments but also your internal personnel and how they all fit together to make a team.

Throughout the NHL playoffs, a head coach has to make significant line up changes game to game to help produce the best match-ups and overcome injuries to help their team win a best of seven series.  When was the last time you reviewed your internal personnel and moved around or added players to utilize their skills to better the team?  Just like an assessment of your technical environment can give you insight into improvements that can be made, a review of your team and the roles that each individual plays can help you maximize each player's abilities.   It can also uncover gaps in your team that can be hurting the overall production of your team.

An addition of an individual that possesses a unique skill could be the final piece of the puzzle that produces a championship for your organization.  Often, the difference between winning a championship and falling just short, is the ability to elevate the play of the entire team.  This usually happens when an individual or individuals are added and positioned properly to round out the perfect team.  You may not possess all of the expertise you need internally to produce the game winner.  Let Remedi help you identify your next game changer.  Give us a call to help you round out your perfect team.
