Upgrade from BizTalk 2016 to BizTalk 2020 Before End of Support Deadline
Commercial Furniture and Furnishings Manufacturer
With Microsoft BizTalk Server 2016 nearing the end of extended support, this omnichannel manufacturer of commercial furniture and furnishings faced growing security and operational risks. The company relied on BizTalk as a central integration hub. Orders, invoices, payments, and other data moved through the platform between SAP, trading partners, and internal systems.
The company considered moving directly to Azure Logic Apps but ultimately chose a staged approach: engage Remedi to help them upgrade to BizTalk Server 2020 first, then plan their longer-term move without putting critical business communications at risk. Remedi's consultant led the migration of about 20 applications and about 400 artifacts to the new environment. These included roughly 200 maps, as well as schemas, orchestrations, custom pipelines, .NET components, and custom XSLT.
