Often times hiring managers, their internal HR recruiters, and job seekers question why one should utilize a niche EDI recruiting or integration recruiting firm particularly when their HR group has pre-existing relationships with general recruiters.  Well the reasons are many, but this is a particularly glaring one, 9 out of 10 jobs filled by recruiters are filled by niche recruiters...

….According to a Fordyce piece Data: 9 Out Of 10 Jobs Get Filled By Niche Recruiters.
5_starWhile this article provides guidance to its recruiting subscriber base, there are reasons hiring managers and candidates should consider niche recruiters beyond the statistics provided in the Fordyce blog.

Niche firms…

..have specific industry knowledge.
..understand the needs of the IT marketplace in addition to that of their specialty within IT.
..provide you with the BEST candidates, not just bodies to fill an opening.
..shorten the interview cycle by providing qualified candidates the first time.
..their network of qualified professionals has been carefully built and nurtured.
..have deep long term relationships with professionals in their niche, they have first-hand knowledge of their experience, skills, and interest/timing around making a career move.

There are more reasons why niche staffing firms are more successful filling open positions, but I am sure you get the point.  Niche staffing firms are able to provide your business with quality professionals that understand the scope of your projects, steps needed to fulfill your business requirements, and often have established relationships with software providers for greater insight concerning your integration tool(s).  For candidates...niche firms understand your skills, understand you're time is valuable, and won't send you on endless interviews for positions that do not fit your requirements or the hiring manager's requirements.

We hope that as you have EDI, B2Bi, MFT and commerce recruitment/placements needs, you will consider Remedi.  If you are looking for a position, or looking to fill a position, and have had mixed results with a Generalist Recruiter the statistics say your experience is not unique.  Consider a firm with a niche to increase your likelihood of success.
