My family and I had the opportunity to celebrate the 4^th of July with some tremendous friends.  It was a beautiful Friday evening and the weather couldn’t have been better.  We stopped and had dinner at one of our favorite restaurants that serves the best wings in town and then headed over to the Fireworks celebration.  There were children’s eyes that lit up with excitement, music playing in the background with the Star-Spangled Banner and lots of laughter.  As we gathered and sat on a couple of blankets laid out on the grass, I looked around the park and realized how fortunate we all were. 

My highschool son plays several sports which all require a large amount of team work.  I often find it crazy the amount of time these teams put into practices, scrimmages, and games.  But, without these, they aren’t getting better or growing as a unit.  Teams require each person to do their job to be successful as a whole.  They win together and lose together.  In sports and life teamwork equates to work done by an entire team - not if only a few members are carrying the load.

This month, Remedi Electronic Commerce Group is celebrating 20 years!  As in any anniversary, it is fun to look back to see what movies and TV shows were popular, and how much gas prices were ($1.09/gallon by the way).  I took a look back to 1994 to find "new emerging technologies" from 20 years ago and a funny YouTube infomercial video called “High-Tech Office”.

The REMEDI team would like to wish everyone a fun and safe 4th!  We hope you will get to enjoy time with your friends and family.  While we are all preparing to celebrate our Nation's independence, our team is also preparing for our 20th Anniversary.  So this week, I thought I'd take a brief look back at our journey and 1994...the year our organization was founded:

The weather looks great for this weekend, so my wife Amy and I will ‘slip the surly bonds of earth’ in a small private airplane for a summer holiday visit with family a few hundred miles to our south.   And though we will arrive at the same destination, at the same time, in the same aircraft, if you ask each of us about our trip you will find we’ve taken two very different journeys to get there.
