Posted by Brad Loetz on Jan 4, 2011 10:53 AM

Happy New Year!

For those that have been a frequent attendee of Sterling Commerce Customer Connection, the conference will be a little different this year given the IBM acquisition. Impact2011, April 10-15, Las Vegas, NV, will now contain what was Customer Connection, be larger in scope, and provide more access to product, industry, and analyst representatives.  The conference will not only benefit those seeking Sterling product/service information and updates, but allow attendees to find out more about IBM companion products, planned integration of products, and synergies of using the two companies products together (e.g. Using WebSphere Transformation Extender inside Sterling Integrator). After reading the press release and the report regarding the certified products, please let me know if you have any thoughts or comments.

I read an interesting article the other day from CIO Magazine. The article lends to a slow but growing confidence in the economy and should make those in the IT industry a bit more encouraged.  Hopefully this will give all of us a little needed pep in our step as we head into 2011.  Below are the highlights of the article, which polled over 250 IT leaders.
